Description

Turkey berry is a small, bittersweet green berry used across West African, Caribbean, and South Indian cooking. The firm berries hold their shape when simmered, adding a pleasantly bitter note to stews, sauces, and fried dishes. Many people also stir them into a glass of orange juice. Rich in iron, antimicrobial, and antidiabetic.
